LLPC, EMDR Certified
My approach to therapy heavily relies on a strong therapeutic alliance. I believe meaningful progress happens when you feel safe, understood, and supported. From our very first session, I prioritize building a connection where you can show up authentically and feel truly met. During the intake, we explore your goals, boundaries, and what you’re hoping to change. Together, we create a collaborative treatment plan that reflects your needs, your pace, and your vision for growth. Since I take a trauma-informed approach, my style is highly introspective and reflective. I help clients look beyond the immediate problem to identify deeper patterns, blind spots, and root causes that influence their daily struggles. By examining your background, lived experiences, and values, we bring clarity to what has been holding you back. We begin building pathways toward healthier patterns and lasting change. I utilize consistent check-ins and feedback opportunities so you always feel aligned with the process and confident that therapy is meeting your needs. While the work can be deep and exploratory, I also focus on solutions, results, and practical strategies that you can apply between sessions. Each appointment is designed to leave you with insight, tools, and a tangible sense of progress. You can expect a space that is warm, nonjudgmental, and centered on your growth. My goal is for you to walk away from therapy feeling more grounded, more self-aware, and more equipped to navigate life with clarity and confidence.
I have experience with individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-image issues, adjustment, etc.

Destiny Nelson
M.S., LLPC
Welcome-I’m glad you’re here! I’m Destiny, a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC) dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and compassion.
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of concerns. My background includes extensive experience supporting individuals involved in the foster care system and those navigating the complex process of family reunification. I understand the deep emotional impact these experiences can have and provide a safe, supportive space to process and heal. I also work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, and general feelings of being overwhelmed. Life’s pressures can weigh heavily, and I’m here to help you explore your emotions, build coping strategies, and reconnect with your strengths. I’m particularly passionate about walking alongside clients through major life transitions—including divorce, relationship changes, career shifts, and other pivotal moments. These transitions, while often painful or uncertain, can also be powerful opportunities for growth and self-discovery. For families, I offer support in improving communication, navigating conflict, and fostering healthier, more connected relationships. Whether you're adjusting to new dynamics or working to heal old wounds, I’m here to help you move forward together. I take a collaborative approach to counseling, grounded in empathy, respect, and a belief in each person's capacity for growth. I tailor my work to your unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices to help you reach your goals at your own pace. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your family, I strive to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported.

I am dedicated to helping individuals heal and grow through personalized therapeutic care. I specialize in providing therapy to patients aged 15 and older, utilizing a range of evidence-based approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Humanistic Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques.
My experience includes working with individuals who struggle with addiction, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, and self-harm. I believe that early childhood trauma and dysfunctional family experiences are often stored in our bodies and can create dysregulated emotional, physical, and behavioral responses that greatly impact our quality of life and relationships. These stored experiences manifest in our daily lives, influencing how we feel, think, and behave.
I am here to help guide you through your healing journey, creating a safe space for you to process past traumas, build healthier coping mechanisms, and develop a stronger sense of self. My goal is to empower you to lead a life that feels happier, more joyful, and free - personally and professionally. With the right support, everyone has the potential to heal, grow, and create a life of purpose and meaning.
Let us work together to navigate your path to wellness and rediscover the courage and intuition that lives within you. I look forward to meeting you!

Andrew Tarockoff
LPC, NCC, CCTP, ACS
EMDR Certified, Approved Clinical Supervisor
I specialize in the treatment of trauma with EMDR, however I frequently help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance use issues, codependent tendencies, behavioral issues, anger, personality disturbances, relationship problems and more. I also provide supervision to LLPC's.
My structure for therapy is focused on bringing results and relief to clients at a pace that fits their needs. An intake appointment will be an exploration of therapy boundaries and rehabilitative directions, then we’ll gather a comprehensive assessment of the client’s presentation, needs, and goals. The client and I build their treatment plan together. Client involvement is integral to effective treatment, which is why I place special importance on building effective therapeutic objectives. I clearly explain them and validate the client’s desire to work on these goals. From that point I work to meet each client where they’re at, to process issues they present in the session and to gently direct toward their long-term goals. You can be sure to walk away with new skills and strategies that improve your ability to cope with distress, understand yourself, and find happiness and clarity.
